The switch is actuated by bringing a permanent magnet near it. WizIoT Reed Switch includes an LED indicator to represent the magnetic field around it. The LED light glows when the magnetic field is experienced. When the magnetic field is removed, the contacts in the reed switch return to their original positions, and the LED indicator turns off.
